A typical “desert safari” package in Dubai offers a mix of thrills + culture + nature. Highlights include:

  • Thrilling 4×4 dune‑bashing over red sand dunes.

  • Other active options: sand‑boarding, quad bikes, dune buggies.

  • Slower‑paced desert activities: camel ride, photo stops with falcons, sunset views.

  • Traditional desert camp experience: hospitality in tents, Arabic coffee & dates, henna, shisha lounge.

  • BBQ dinner (or buffet) in the desert with live entertainment (dance, fire show) in many evening tours.

  • Hotel pickup & drop‑off included in many packages.

 Timing & types of tours

  • Morning safari: Usually starts early (e.g., ~8:30am) and lasts a few hours. Good if you have a tight schedule or wish to avoid the heat later.

  • Evening safari: Very popular — you head out when the temperature is cooler, see the sunset in the dunes, then camp‑style dinner.

  • Overnight safari: Stay in the desert camp overnight, wake to sunrise in the dunes. For a more immersive experience.

 Choosing the right package

When picking your desert safari adventure, consider:

  • Activity level & inclusions: Do you want just light fun (camel ride + camp) or full adrenaline (dune‑bashing + quad bikes + sand‑boarding)?

  • Pickup & vehicle comfort: Is the transfer from your hotel included? What vehicle?

  • Camp & meals: What kind of dinner? Buffet? BBQ? Are drinks included? Are showers/overnight stays good?

  • Time & duration: Morning might be shorter; evening likely 4‑6 hours; overnight is obviously longer.

Desert Safari Adventure Info

One of the classic experiences outside the city of Dubai is heading into the desert for:

  • Dune‑bashing in a 4×4 vehicle over the red sand dunes.

  • Sand‑boarding, quad‑biking or dune‑buggy options.

  • Camel rides at dusk, falcon photo‑opportunities, henna, and camp activities.

  • BBQ dinner under the stars at a desert camp with traditional entertainment (e.g., Arabic music, Tanoura dance).

A must for everyone who is visiting UAE. A memory to share with your family and friends back home, this is one safari you can’t do back home. We recommend it highly and it will be worth every penny spent!

This tour starts in the afternoon across the desert of Dubai with several stops for photography. During an exciting dune drive you arrive at the first destination for a beautiful sunset. We stop to watch the sunset and continue with Dune bashing to finally reach our campsite. Here you have the opportunity to do a camel ride, sand boarding and try out a henna design on hand or feet. After working up an appetite you get to enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe). You also get to enjoy our Fire show and Tanura show performance around the campfire by starlight.
